Michelle Sicula, MA, JD is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Berkeley and San Francisco, CA. She is a Certified Therapist in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and has training in Sensorimotor Processing, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
Michelle works with clients needing assistance with family building either due to infertility or because they require third parties for family building and helps couples achieve a more securely attached relationship using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She also works with attorneys and other professionals to manage stress and increase work-life balance.
Michelle brings to her psychotherapy practice over twenty years of experience as a licensed attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists; a member of the Northern California Community for Emotionally Focused Therapy (NCCEFT) and the Chair of NCCEFT’s Board of Directors for the 2017-2018 year; a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, Mental Health Providers Group (MHPG) and 2017-2018 Chair of the Connections Committee which hosts monthly calls for the MHPG community.
