First, please enjoy this heartwarming collection of video messages from AEDPers around the world – in their own languages!

Dear members of our worldwide AEDP community,

Together in a globally shared crisis, i.e., the corona virus pandemic, we are holding you, our AEDP worldwide community, in heart and mind. Undoing aloneness is such a core part of AEDP’s mission: at this time of necessary social distancing, undoing aloneness and staying connected is more important than ever. Most, if not all, of us have moved our practices online to continue to protect and maintain the health and wellbeing of our patients and ourselves, which remains our utmost priority.

We at the AEDP Institute are closely monitoring guidelines and travel restrictions in the US and around the world and are adjusting our programming based on what we know of the mandates coming from public health authorities, medical professionals and governments. For in-person courses/seminars originally scheduled for March through June, 2020 we have already either rescheduled the event or moved it online. And we are launching more online training opportunities weekly so keep an eye on the website and your email for those.

We invite you to move forward with registering for these March – June online courses and seminars as they fit with your current schedule, and also register for courses that begin July, 2020 or later resting assured that the trainings will go ahead either online or in-person as the then virus situation demands. We will keep registered participants informed of changes and up-to-date plans, and we will let you know of modifications to our cancellation policies as things continue to unfold.

If you have a question about the impact of coronavirus on a particular training, please check the relevant webpage or email us at admin@aedpinstitute.org.

Please know that we are monitoring this evolving situation closely, keeping those who are affected in our hearts and listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive from our patients, colleagues and the entire AEDP network. We will be sharing further announcements on this page, by email and on the AEDP member Listserv and website.

We are also working hard to develop free online resources to be of support to therapists in our community and help you best address the clinical impact of this unprecedented situation as well as virus-related issues, e.g., medical conditions, economic hardships, racial inequality, xenophobia, etc., that cause emotional suffering for the people around the world with whom we work.

Please follow this space for frequent updates, as we are adapting to a situation that is changing day by day.
We are grateful for this community and are keeping you all and each other in our hearts and minds. Let’s remain connected as we traverse this challenging time together.

From all of us at,

The AEDP Institute
