FAQ

Is there a recommended sequence for AEDP Certification courses?

YES! Keep in mind there are three must haves for certification: Immersion, Essential Skills, and Supervision with a, AEDP certified supervisor, faculty member

1) AEDP Immersion is the foundational course and is the required first step towards certification.. After completing the Immersion, therapists attain AEDP Level 1 status.
2) The Essential Skills course, is the required second step for certification. Upon completing Essential Skills, therapists achieve AEDP Level 2 status.
3) After Essential skills therapists may choose one of two options; to take the 5 module Advanced Skills course and one supervision option or they may choose to take 2 supervision options.

Supervision options include:

a)15 hours individual supervision with 5 hours of you presenting a video and being supervised on that video,
b) 30 hours of group supervision 5 hours of you presenting a video and being supervised on that video,
c) Core training, with 5 hours of you presenting a video and being supervised on that video

**It is recommended to take supervision after Immersion and simultaneously with Essential Skills to enhance the value of both.
