Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is a comprehensive, integrative theoretical and clinical model. It is rigorous, unique, and effective. AEDPfC, developed by AEDP Sr. Faculty member David Mars, PhD, brings the theories and practice of AEDP to couple therapy.
Certification in AEDPfC includes dual certification in both AEDP and AEDPfC. Dually certified clinicians can demonstrate mastery of AEDP and AEDPfC theoretical models, proficiency in applying AEDP and AEDPfC interventions to diverse clinical populations, and an overall understanding and commitment to the AEDP mission, ethos and values. You can apply for Dual Certification at the recommendation of your AEDP supervisors.
A Recommended Path to Dual Certification in AEDP & AEDPfC
Hybrid (ESfC) 2 weeks => Immersion => ES1 => 20 hrs One-on-one Supervision in AEDP => Apply for AEDP Certification

Many other paths are possible. See the requirements guidelines below and talk with your supervisor about a path that works best for you.
Requirements for Dual Certification in AEDP & AEDPfC

The rest of your training depends on what best meets your needs. If you are interested in obtaining Dual Certification we strongly encourage you to discuss your path to Certification with an AEDPfC supervisor.
