Lynda’s lifelong vision has been to assist those with difficult health care situations. This led her to become a Certified Healthcare Navigator through the University of Miami’s healthcare advocacy program and to obtain her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Cincinnati. She has also received her MSW from Fordham University. Currently, Lynda works with the chronic mentally ill and their families. Most of her work is centered around the family dynamic and how to cope with mental health concerns. As a psychotherapist at the Mental Health Association In NJ, Lynda is a also a facilitator of the National Alliance for Mental Health (NAMI) Family2Family program. Running groups and working with the older adult population is also an area of interest as Lynda's previous career was being a nursing home administrator for over 20 years.
