As a Certification Supervisor, you play an essential role in guiding therapist candidates through the AEDP certification process. Your support helps candidates develop, refine, and present clinical work that reflects AEDP’s standards for transformational practice and clinical excellence.
Before beginning certification supervision, ask your candidate to submit their Therapist Certification Application so Administration can verify their Level 3 status and your eligibility. Then work together to review clinical work using AEDP’s 9+1 Session Scale, select videos, and prepare the certification package. Submit your recommendation when you consider the candidate ready for formal review.
