Reflections from the 2025 AEDP Conference

Transformative Moments in Community
Thank You for Being Part of the 2025 AEDP Conference
To everyone who joined us — thank you. Your presence, your openness, and your commitment to this work helped create something truly special.
Over the course of our days together, we shared transformative moments that were both deeply personal and profoundly collective. Through illuminating didactic presentations we explored the cutting edge of AEDP theory and practice — with heart, humility, and a sense of mutual discovery.
We witnessed the vitality that emerges when we come together not just as clinicians, but as fellow humans. Our time was filled with connection: old friends reuniting, new relationships beginning, and a renewed sense of purpose.
On this page, we honor and reflect on what we co-created — in words, in images, and in shared memory. Thank you for bringing your full selves to this community and to this unforgettable gathering.
We look forward to many more moments of growth, inspiration, and transformation with you.
We truly are “In it Together”

Collaborative and Inspiring
We were inspired by workshops that expanded our clinical understanding through a powerful blend of didactic teaching & moving clinical video presentations. Together, we explored meaningful challenges and emerging directions in the field, deepening connection and insight as professionals and as a community.

Unique Experience
What made this conference so unique was not only the quality of the content, but the quality of the connection — the aliveness in the room, the safety to take risks, the sense of being “in it together.” From quiet moments of reflection to shared laughter and tears, we witnessed what becomes possible when healing happens in community.

Presentations
The 2025 AEDP Conference featured a rich tapestry of Engaging & Transformational presentations that were both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant. Each presentation invited us into deeper connection—with ourselves, with one another, and with the healing power of the AEDP model. Presenters brought vulnerability, clarity, and clinical depth to their teaching, modeling the transformational work we strive to do in our therapy rooms. These sessions didn’t just inform—they moved us, challenged us, and renewed our sense of purpose.

Interviews with Teresa
As part of capturing the spirit of the 2025 AEDP Conference, Teresa Yung conducted spontaneous interviews with attendees throughout the event. These informal conversations offered a heartfelt window into the lived experience of the conference — from moments of personal transformation to reflections on community and connection. Whether sharing what moved them most or simply expressing the joy of being together in person, participants’ voices brought the theme “In It Together” to life in vivid and personal ways.

AEDP Faculty
The full participation of the faculty at the 2025 AEDP Conference, themed In It Together, highlighted the collaborative spirit central to the event. Esteemed faculty members delivered a diverse array of presentations. These sessions encompassed live clinical demonstrations and discussions on applying AEDP in various settings, including community mental health and psychedelic-assisted therapy

Looking Ahead
The 2025 AEDP Conference, aptly titled In It Together, was a landmark event celebrating 25 years of AEDP. Held both in-person at New York City’s historic Webster Hall and online, the conference brought together the entire AEDP faculty, and over 500 Participants both online and In person marking a rare and profoundly meaningful gathering for the community!
The 2025 AEDP Conference not only celebrated a quarter-century of therapeutic innovation but also set the stage for future growth. By fostering a community that values emotional depth, scientific integration, and continuous learning, AEDP continues to evolve as a dynamic force in psychotherapy.
