AEDP Levels Defined: Your Path to Level 3
Reaching AEDP Level 3 reflects advanced mastery of the AEDP model. It marks a significant step in refining your clinical skills, strengthening your professional identity, and deepening your engagement in the AEDP community.
This pathway is structured, cumulative, and designed to support you at every stage of your growth.

🟢 Level 1 — Foundation
➡️ Complete Immersion
Build a strong foundation in AEDP theory, core principles, and clinical approach.
🔵 Level 2 — Developing Practice
➡️ Complete Immersion
➡️ Complete Essential Skills (ES1)
Deepen your experiential learning and develop greater technical fluency in AEDP.
🟣 Level 3 — Advanced Standing
➡️ Complete Immersion
➡️ Complete Essential Skills (ES1)
➕ Plus ONE of the following pathways:
Option A — Advanced Skills Pathway
✔️ Complete 5 Advanced Skills Modules (ASMs)
✔️ Complete 1 Supervision Option
OR
Option B — Supervision Intensive Pathway

🧑⚕️ Individual Supervision

✔️ AEDP Faculty Member
✔️ Certified Supervisor
✔️ Supervisor in Training
📌 Important Notes:
- Only 10 hours with a Supervisor in Training count immediately toward Level 3, any additional hours will count once the supervisor becomes certified
- Supervisors-in-Training may not serve as your Certification Supervisor after Level 3
