Amari, Nico PsyD

As an HCPC registered counselling psychologist, I understand how the problems we encounter can result from difficult life circumstances. With doctoral-level training in evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, experiential and psychodynamic therapies, I am committed to consider the person's unique context. Having worked with children, young people, adults and older adults, I can adapt my approach to be age appropriate.

Furthermore, I have a special interest in considering the intersection of traumatic experiences and often minoritised identities, such as neurodivergence, ethnic, sexual and gender diversity.

I believe that we all have a natural ability to move towards healing. My hope is to co-create a relationship to help you find a road map and navigate life with greater ease.
