Therapist candidates seeking AEDP certification must complete several key requirements, including submitting two clinical video recordings with transcripts, microanalyses, client descriptions, and a self-reflection essay. Videos must demonstrate work across the four AEDP states of transformation. A Certification Supervisor will guide candidates in preparing their materials for submission, and a panel of reviewers will assess the final package. Resource Information the Therapist Reviewer
Therapist reviewers play a critical role in assessing AEDP certification packages. Responsibilities include reviewing candidates’ clinical video recordings, transcripts, and supporting materials to ensure they meet AEDP’s high standards. Reviewers must independently evaluate submissions using the provided rubric and communicate their decisions (Pass or Resubmit) through Carolyn. Collaboration or discussions about the evaluation should be coordinated through Carolyn, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to AEDP guidelines.
