Something in you is already moving toward healing, even if it doesn't feel that way yet. AEDP is built on that belief, and it is what draws me to this work.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in North Seattle, working with adults throughout Washington State via telehealth. My training is depth-oriented and integrative, drawing on nearly ten years of formal study across the UK and the United States, specialist post-graduate training in Mentalization-Based Treatment, and a year-long certificate in Integrative Trauma Studies through the National Institute for the Psychotherapies.

I completed AEDP immersion and essential skills training through the AEDP Institute, and what I value most about this approach is its insistence that the therapeutic relationship itself is a vehicle for change — not just a container for it. We work with what is alive in the room between us, with emotion as it arises rather than around it, and with the parts of your experience that may never have had the chance to be fully felt or known.

Much of what brings people to therapy is the experience of having carried something alone for too long. My intention is that you feel that aloneness begin to shift, not at some point down the track, but in the work itself, from early on.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relational difficulties, identity, and emotional intensity, including experiences associated with personality disorders. If you are curious about whether this approach might suit you, I offer a free half-hour consultation.
