I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice and have found a deep resonance in my study and application of AEDP. During the academic year, I am part of a dynamic group of colleagues that lead students to find their clinical voice in a program of study we affectionately call the MAC (Master of Arts in Counseling) program. I draw from object relations, self-psychology, and Jungian notions of psyche. Having worked for many years in the field of child/parent attachment, I also provide clinical supervision for the Secure Child Program and am affiliated with the Virginia Child and Family Attachment Clinic. With my clients, I welcome the felt experience of emotional safety and security to take root in new ways; I find authentic healing to be an emergent property of relational encounter.
