Kwok Wing Wu, M.Psych, Reg.Clin.Psychol.
Kwok Wing is a registered clinical psychologist working in the Mental Health Association of Hong Kong. Wing is an Adjunct Faculty of AEDP Institute and has been certified as AEDP Therapist and Supervisor in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
Wing completed the Immersion Course conducted by Dr. Danny Yeung in 2006. Inspired by Dr. Yeung’s teaching, Wing received continuous supervision from Dr. Yeung for four years afterwards. With our great honor, Dr. Diana Fosha came to Hong Kong and taught us Immersion Course and advanced workshop in 2010 and 2015. Received Dr. Fosha’s support and recognition, the AEDP development in Hong Kong becomes flourishing over the recent eight years. Most importantly, with tremendous support from our local AEDP graduates, we have been developing a comprehensive and localized training and service package to our Chinese community, which not only include the Level II and III training, but also involve what we call “case sharing session,” “AEDP Salon,” “AEDP Book Club,” and the AEDP alumni community, as well as the establishment of a centre-based AEDP service for people in Hong Kong.
With great encouragement from Dr. Yeung, Wing started to teach AEDP Core Skills Training in 2013, and to provide Level III Group and Individual Supervision in 2014. Since then, Wing has trained and supervised over a half thousand mental health clinicians in Hong Kong. Wing also did case demonstration in Immersion Course since 2020 and co-taught Immersion Course with Dr. Yeung in 2023.
Wing also wrote articles on a variety of topics in AEDP and widely shared in the local Chinese community since 2008. Its topics include the dynamic aspect of AEDP, the healing process of AEDP and the emerge of self-compassion, a journey of self- recognition in a case sharing, and the interface between positive psychology and AEDP etc. Furthermore, Wing developed an updated AEDP HK webpage in both English and Chinese for further expanding the development and movement of AEDP in Hong Kong.
