Timo is a licenced psychotherapist in both Sweden and Finland, working with AEDP and CBT. He has over the years worked within in- and out patient psychiatry as well as in the first line mental health services in primary health care setting. He has treated people from all walks of life, ages, gender, sexual orientation and has an aquierd competency in cultural diversity in psychotherapy working half a decade amongst Europes first nation/indigenous communities.

He has published several articles about treatment of mental health issues in Swedens most prominent CBT magazine "Sokraten" and he has presented his work in rural settings for the European bransch of the World Health Organisation. He is a co-translator and tester of the assessment form Cooper-Norcross Inventory of Preferences in the swedish context. In 2021 Timo became, together with a colleague, an award-winning psychotherapist for his work with making treatment for mental health issues and substance use disorder more accessible in underdeveloped rural settings.

Timo works in his own private practice with psychotherapy, teaches students in social work about assessment of mental healt and treatment of substance use disorder, paramedical students about ethics and theory of science. He is a writer of course literature for university studies, prose and poetry.

Timo belongs to a recognised national minority in Sweden, speaks swedish, finnish and english fluently and has a multicultural, minority/majority and class perspective embodied in his approach to treatment.
