“You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. You only need to arrive.”
I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Canadian Certified Supervisor (CCS) based in British Columbia, Canada. I offer online counselling for adults navigating trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, and questions about who they are beneath long-held roles, expectations, or ways of coping.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the healing power of attuned and caring relationships. I continue to be moved by what becomes possible when people feel safe enough to share the parts of themselves they have carried alone for a long time. Together, we slow down and listen closely to what is unfolding beneath the surface — with curiosity, compassion, and care.
My work is relational, attachment-informed, and trauma-aware, integrating AEDP, somatic attachment approaches, and existential analysis. Rather than rushing toward solutions, I aim to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more emotionally steady, and more able to move through life with authenticity, self-compassion, and aliveness.
I often find myself especially drawn to people who have spent much of their lives feeling outside the centre of belonging — those who have learned to adapt, mask, perform, or carry themselves alone. Many of the clients I work with, including neurodivergent individuals, long not simply to cope, but to feel more deeply understood, accepted, and connected to themselves and others.
In addition to my private practice, Cennia Psychotherapy, I work as a counsellor and clinical supervisor in a post-secondary setting. I also bring lived experience as a former high-level athlete, which continues to inform my understanding of pressure, identity, performance, injury, and transition.
