Courtney shares the following reflections on her journey:

Today, becoming an AEDP Certified Supervisor feels like coming home.

What a joyful and deeply meaningful milestone this is.

My AEDP journey began in 2014. I became a Certified AEDP Therapist in 2021, and today I am thrilled and honored to join this extraordinary community as a Certified Supervisor. Along the way, I also became a Certified Psychedelic Somatic Psychotherapist. These milestones reflect a path that has transformed not only my professional work, but also the way I move through the world.

The journey wasn’t always easy. There were seasons when life asked much of me, and at times the path felt long. Yet those very experiences became part of the learning, strengthening my trust that growth often unfolds not despite life’s challenges, but through them. Perhaps that’s why this moment feels so much like coming home—not because the path was easy, but because every step belonged to it.

As a somatic, holistically oriented therapist, AEDP has deepened my trust in our remarkable capacity to heal, grow, and move toward greater connection and self-realization when held within the safety of secure relationships. It is an extraordinary privilege to witness authenticity, vitality, and aliveness emerge. This work continues to fill me with hope, wonder, and awe.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to my supervisors, teachers, mentors, my AEDP therapist, friends, colleagues, patients, and supervisees. Special thanks to Molly Eldridge, Steve Shapiro, Karen Pando-Mars, Kari Gleiser, Kate Halliday, Jenn Edlin, Ben Medley, Diana Fosha, and many others who have accompanied me along the way.

I step into this new chapter with joy, humility, and excitement. I welcome inquiries about individual and group supervision and look forward to connecting with colleagues who share a passion for transformational healing.

Here’s to the journey—and to all that is still unfolding.

Thank you

On behalf of the AEDP Supervisory Review Board
