Originally from Japan, June embraces her mixed-race heritage and the integration of both American and Japanese cultures. A licensed clinician for over 25 years, she maintains a private practice in Los Angeles, California.

Drawn to experiential approaches that honor emotion, attachment, and the body, June is certified in EMDR, serves as an EFT supervisor, and is a registered play therapist. After completing the AEDP Immersion Course with Diana Fosha in 2014, she was deeply moved by the model’s depth and authenticity, inspiring her to later become a certified AEDP therapist.

Her passions include cross-cultural dynamics, the impact of discrimination on mixed-race individuals, self-compassion, forgiveness, grief, and loss. Fluent in English and Japanese, she offers therapy in both languages. June has presented at the AEDP Clinician’s Corner and was a guest speaker for the 2025 Japan Immersion, focusing on healing mixed-race struggles through AEDP.
