Bob Yip Mang Sau
Bob Yip Mang Sau is a Certified AEDP Therapist and Supervisor based in Hong Kong. Bob has been a dedicated psychotherapist for over 45 years in the Chinese community with a wealth of experience in helping individuals, couples, and families as well as providing training and supervision to social workers, pastors and other helping professionals. Bob is also a Certified Counselor, an Approved Counseling Supervisor and fellow member recognized by The Hong Kong Professional Counseling Association.
Aside from his private practice, Bob was an Adjunct Professor at various Theological Seminaries in Hong Kong, where he taught courses on Attachment and Spirituality Formation. He also taught counseling courses at various tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, and conducted training programs for different organizations over the years. Bob is passionate about sharing AEDP’s essences via his training workshops. He has made significant efforts in integrating AEDP in spiritual direction and vice versa, and he actively promotes AEDP within the church community.
Bob obtained a BA degree in Social Work, Religion, and Philosophy, as well as a MA degree in Social Science from Azusa Pacific University. He earned a Diploma in Christian Studies and a Master of Divinity degree from the China Graduate School of Theology and completed the spiritual direction formation program organized by Kardia Heart Wisdom, Australia.
As an author, Bob has written multiple books on topics such as Enneagram, love and relationship, self-image, inter-generational relationships, soul care and spirituality. He has also produced audio materials covering various subjects, including personal growth, relationships, mindfulness practices, and published an article with 25,000 words in Chinese to introduce AEDP.
