Victoria Cheung Ng Kwok -Yee, DMin, RP

Victoria Cheung received her Doctor of Ministry in 2019, with her doctoral thesis Developing Caring Presence Ministry for Leadership Training rooted in and informed by AEDP. She has conducted AEDP informed workshops and seminars to Chinese communities in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, London (Ontario), Hong Kong, Macau and Sichuan. Inspired by Developing Caring Presence Ministry for Leadership Training, her upcoming book tentatively titled Presencing Care, will be published by CCM Canada.

Dr. Cheung was acknowledged for her sustained 17 years leadership and contribution to the development of AEDP Hong Kong in the Adjunct Faculty appointment ceremony 2023. She was trained in AEDP with Senior Faculty Dr. Danny Yeung and has been assisting in AEDP training and supervision of Hong Kong colleagues since 2005. Dr. Cheung is the co-author, with Dr. Danny Yeung, of The Rainbow After: Psychological Trauma and Accelerated ExperientialDynamic Psychotherapy, currently in its 3rd edition. She is the lead author of Portrait of the Soul, currently in its 6th edition, a work that deeply resonates with AEDP. Like a Mirror, published in 2019, is a collection of her essays written over 25 years. She has produced and directed sixteen educational DVDs and CDs that are instrumental to the learning and the growth of the AEDP community in Hong Kong. She maintains a private practice in Toronto and is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario and the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.
