My name is Allison Cordner and and I work out of Vancouver, B.C for Counselling sessions and work in Montreal and B.C for Phototherapy sessions. Awaiting my RTC in the next few month (November, December 2019)

My therapeutic style is transpersonal/experiential and includes approaches such as family systems theory, which means I will ask you questions about your family history and look at how it may connect to your current struggles. I also combine somatic trauma exercises, Gestalt Therapy, and person centred therapy (Carl Rogers) as well as in progress training in AEDP (Accelerated experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) EMT for couples (emotionally focused couple therapy), somatic therapy (Peter Levine) along with various ongoing therapeutic approaches within the framework of Transpersonal Psychology

I am passionate about working with male & female clients to support them to develop vulnerable connections, joy, and intimacy with themselves, others and the world. The first step is becoming aware of the story and beliefs that drive the patterns that are not serving you. I will help you to take emotional risks and communicate feelings in connection that you may never have learned to do with the aim of helping you develop healthier dynamics in your relationships and life.

I bring a lot of sensitivity, acceptance, and interest in clients who struggle with childhood trauma, rape, rage/temper management struggles, addictions to porn, substances and other destructive behaviours as well as intimacy struggles.

 I am comfortable working with a wide range of clients from executives to bikers to mother's. I can hold space and counsel a wide range of people.

I can be available for online sessions using an application called Zoom. I work with individuals, couples and groups.
