I work with adults (mostly 50+) who are experiencing the stressors and transitions of middle age and beyond. At this stage of life, many of us start to ask: 'who am I and where do I want to go from here?' The answer to these questions can be clouded by anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, painful memories, medical conditions, caregiver stress, or the loss of a loved one. Whatever your situation is, therapy can help you access inner resources towards healing and transformation. Once inner resources are accessed, clarity and new possibilities often emerge.
I strive to offer a holistic approach in a safe and supportive environment. I received my MSW at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1994 and am licensed in North Carolina (LCSW) and South Carolina (LISW). I enjoy family time, taking walks and hikes, practicing yoga, and find my own healing by the water.
