I am here to hold a space where you can show up just as you are, inviting you to experience your thoughts and emotions not as burdens requiring management but as evidence of your humanity, which we can choose to care for with tenderness.
As you consider if therapy might be a supportive choice for you, it is possible that you are feeling alone and yearn for a more authentic connection with yourself and others. You might find that your emotions feel unpredictable, overwhelming or perhaps you feel disconnected from them altogether.
Fundamentally, I believe that we all have the capacity for healing, growth, and connection. My trauma-informed approach is situated in intersectional feminist and anti-oppressive principles. Utilizing these frameworks to connect to ourselves, our bodies, and our communities we can begin to undo experiences of aloneness and rebuild a sense of safety and ease. My role is to hold a space where you can show up just as you are, assured that you will be met with care and compassion.
