I am an experienced psychotherapist and certified group psychotherapist working with individuals, couples and groups. I have an attachment lens, understanding people through their relationships, life experiences and current challenges. I hold a Ph.D. in biochemistry, which informs my work in psychotherapy by applying current research in neurobiology to my treatment approach. I am a board member of the Northeastern Society of Group Psychotherapy and a member of the American Society for Group Psychotherapy.
My practice focus is working with adults seeking help with relationship issues, trauma, loss, challenging life transitions and the harmful coping styles that often accompany them. I work with people experientially using Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and group psychotherapy. I am also trained in proactive cognitive and behavioral strategies. I see psychotherapy as a partnership where we work together to attend to the feelings you are experiencing, while supporting you in moving forward with the changes you wish to make in your life.
