I am Level 1 trained in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, a unique, warm treatment for complex trauma. My number one goal as a therapist is to truly understand my client, with respect and curiosity for their unique identities and idiosyncrasies. I strive to create space for you to express your inner world and have it be truly honored and held.
If you have tried therapy before and maybe it was not for you, we may be a good fit. My style is attachment-based and client-led. I find I work best with people who veer off from the "normal" or expected pathways of life. Maybe you are Queer, neuro-divergent, a person who uses drugs, or belong to another marginalized group. However you identify, we will co-construct a non-judgmental and supportive environment that is most conducive to your own individual goals and needs. I will encourage you to deeply feel your emotions during session, and I will work with you to co-regulate safely. Sessions are 1 hour and typically weekly or bi-weekly; I am most interested in providing long-term treatment.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in NY, and I have a Masters and Bachelors in Social Work as well. I am currently working toward my certification in psychoanalytic social work practice.
