I believe that for each of us, working towards growth, self-understanding, acceptance, change and healing is a lifelong journey, which at some points can benefit from the support of a counsellor. I strive to honour the uniqueness of each client’s history and lived experience by providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their inner thoughts and feelings and work through difficulties to create a meaningful life.
I have over 15 years experience working in non profit agencies, government and private practice with all populations including adults, parents, youth and children who have struggled with anxiety, depression, domestic violence, eating disorders, substance use, body image, self-esteem/self-worth, stress management, parenting, relationship difficulties, PTSD, and trauma.
Using a holistic and trauma informed approach, I utilize a combination of therapies to help clients get unstuck, build practical skills, address underlying themes, and get back to a place of greater connectedness to themselves and others.
