Safe and trusting relationships are the context in which we most often experience healing — especially when we have been wounded by others. I believe that earning and maintaining your trust is foundational for the counseling process. I seek to provide a compassionate, genuine, calm, and steady presence, so that you can feel safe and supported as you engage in the important and challenging work of therapy. I am most excited when my clients can see their own strengths and realize that they are capable of facing and releasing past wounds in order to grow and heal in ways that used to seem impossible.
I work with older teens, college-aged young adults, and adult women, most of whom are seeking healing after experiencing trauma(s), loss, difficult relationships, or anxiety. I have been counseling, mentoring, and supervising individuals, youth, and other mental health professionals since 2004.
