In his therapeutic career Hunter has provided intensive home based therapy for families struggling with major mental health issues, and outpatient family, individual, and group therapy services. He has skills as a strengths based psychodynamic psychotherapist who uses aspects of AEDP, Gestalt, Psychodrama, Parts Work, Coaching, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Structural Family Therapy, along with humor and deep empathy.
Hunter enjoys assisting people from all spiritual traditions. Some of his work has included helping people heal and reclaim their spirituality following coercive spiritual experiences. When requested Hunter can provide Spiritual Direction for people seeking to deepen their spiritual practice.
