I view the therapeutic process as an inner pilgrimage, and have a profound respect for the role of the imagination in facilitating the metabolism of the psyche, and fostering the capacity for deep connection. My passion lies in nurturing the creative process inherent within each of us, with its capacity to transform, restore balance, cultivate intimacy, and facilitate healing. I have an integrative approach with psychodynamic underpinnings and use an attachment and trauma informed lens in my work. I utilize a variety of techniques including arts-based, body-oriented, mindfulness, DBT, dream exploration, etc., to bring awareness to all aspects of lived experience. My style has been described as warm, interactive, direct, and non-judgmental.
In private practice I see adults seeking therapy for relationship issues, anxiety/depression, grief/loss, addictive patterns of behavior, integration of psycho-spiritual, trauma-related, transpersonal experiences, third culture and immigrant experience, and personal growth.
