My counselling practice is guided by a belief that we all have a natural impulse toward self-healing/self-correction when we feel supported. I feel passionate about my profession. I am so grateful for all the times I could witness beautiful transformation in my clients. My aim is to help individuals get in touch with their inner voices, regain their sense of self and strengthen their resilience to overcome difficulties that they are facing.. My approach is relational, experiential and emotion-focused. It stems from research on attachment and neuroscience. Our conversations will be compassionate explorations of your emotions, somatic experiences, and formative experiences while having a new and good experience with me that heals old wounds. I am a certified MBET (Mindfulness Based Experiential Therapy) therapist. I am trained in Level 3 AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and I am literally falling in love with this magical approach. I gravitated towards AEDP because it was firmly grounded in current neuroscience and in how emotions can be strategically used to bring forth positive transformation. And in AEDP, the stance of the therapist is informed by excellent research in attachment. Providing a safe environment for the patient makes it possible for them to explore new parts of themselves that were, until now, too scary or shameful to approach.
