Three Pathways for Teaching, Presenting, and Community Engagement

AEDP® offers several opportunities for community members to share their knowledge, deepen learning, and contribute to the growth of our community. Each pathway has a different purpose, process, and audience.

Institute-Sponsored Seminars: Learning Theory and Skills

Purpose:
Institute-Sponsored Seminars are rigorous Institute-Sponsored Seminars opportunities designed to expand the AEDP community’s understanding of theory, clinical practice, and related topics.

Who can apply:
Community members with expertise in an area they believe would benefit AEDP clinicians.

Process:
Seminar proposals go through a formal application and review process with the Education Committee to ensure alignment with:

  • AEDP ethos, theory, and practice
  • Educational quality standards
  • CE accreditation requirements, including teaching experience and learning objectives

Interested in proposing a seminar?
The Education Committee welcomes proposals on a wide range of topics from diverse teachers.

DBEI Speaker Series: Deepening Awareness, Belonging, Equity, and Inclusion

Purpose:
The DBEI Speaker Series creates opportunities for the AEDP community to explore and deepen awareness around diversity, belonging, equity, and inclusion.

Format:

  • Curated by the DBEI Committee
  • Speakers are invited by the committee
  • Presentations are offered approximately quarterly
  • Free and open to the AEDP community

Clinician’s Corner: Building Community Through Clinical Learning

Purpose:
Clinician’s Corner provides a welcoming space for AEDP clinicians to learn through live case discussions, clinical examples, and shared exploration.

Format:

  • Monthly 60-minute online sessions
  • Short clinical video or brief didactic presentation
  • Followed by community discussion and reflection

Who is it for?
Clinician’s Corner is valuable for clinicians at all AEDP levels and is available free for Institute members.

Teaching opportunities:
Priority is given to:

  • AEDP Certified Supervisors
  • Supervisors in Training
  • AEDP Certified Therapists
  • AEDP Level 3 Clinicians

This is a great opportunity to gain teaching experience in a supportive format without a formal application or committee review process.
