Trauma can shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Early experiences and relationships can teach us ways of coping that once helped us feel safe, connected, or protected. These adaptations can be deeply intelligent and protective, yet over time, they may leave us feeling stuck, disconnected from ourselves, or as though something is wrong with us.
I believe you are not broken and do not need to be fixed. Beneath the protective patterns we have developed is an innate capacity for healing, connection, and growth. Therapy can offer a safe and compassionate space to slow down, become curious about what is happening within you, and gently explore the emotions, needs, and experiences that may have been difficult to fully process on your own. Together, we work toward greater connection with yourself and others, while strengthening your capacity to experience life with greater authenticity, confidence, and freedom.
My approach is experiential and relational. I view the therapeutic relationship itself as an important part of healing. Together, we notice what happens in the moment—within your emotions, body, thoughts, and our relationship—and use that awareness to make implicit experiences more explicit and understandable. Rather than forcing change, we work at a pace that honors your protective responses while creating opportunities for new emotional and relational experiences.
I work with adults navigating complex trauma, anxiety, ADHD, grief, experiences of abuse, life and relationship transitions, and third-culture identity. I am trained in AEDP, EMDR, and IFS-informed and somatic-informed approaches. Whether you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or simply ready for something different, you deserve support that honors the whole of who you are.
