Steering Committee
The Steering Committee serves as a guiding body for the Institute, ensuring alignment with its mission and values while supporting the growth and evolution of the AEDP model. Composed of experienced leaders and practitioners, the committee provides strategic direction, oversees key initiatives, and fosters collaboration across the community.
Education Committee
The Education Committee is dedicated to shaping and enhancing the Institute’s educational offerings, ensuring they remain innovative, accessible, and grounded in AEDP’s core principles. Composed of experienced faculty and practitioners, the committee supports the growth and development of AEDP therapists worldwide.
Experiential Assistant Learning Community
The EALC is a vibrant community of AEDP practitioners dedicated to supporting fellow clinicians in their learning journey. It ensures that EAs are well-prepared to assist in AEDP trainings, fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment for all participants. Practitioners often discover new depths to their AEDP knowledge, confidence and competence.
Diversity, Belonging, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
The Diversity, Belonging, Equity, and Inclusion Committee is committed to fostering a more inclusive and equitable AEDP community. Through education, dialogue, and advocacy, the committee works to integrate DBEI principles into the Institute’s practices, trainings, and culture, ensuring AEDP remains accessible and welcoming to all.
Vision Collective
Our vision is to build a diverse cohort passionate about developing initiatives and innovative approaches to “AEDP & Healing Racialized Trauma.” Recognizing the historic and current oppression of global Black communities, especially in the USA, we have focused on self-identified Black AEDP members leading efforts to reimagine how AEDP addresses racialized trauma.
Research Project
The AEDP Research Committee is dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding of AEDP. By supporting research initiatives and fostering collaboration between clinicians and researchers, the committee works to validate the evidence base for the AEDP model, ensuring its continued growth and impact in the therapeutic field. The results of their work are reflected in empirical research on AEDP.
Certification Committee
The AEDP Certification Committee oversees and maintains the standards and processes of AEDP certification. They develop and review certification requirements, establish guidelines, and work to ensure consistency in the certification process. Their work ensures the integrity of AEDP certification while supporting therapists in attaining certification.
Psychedelics Committee
The AEDP Psychedelic Committee explores the intersection of AEDP and psychedelic-assisted therapy. By fostering dialogue, research, and education, the committee aims to integrate AEDP principles into this emerging field, supporting therapists in applying the model within the context of psychedelic work responsibly and effectively.
Admin & Facilitation Team
The Admin Team manages day-to-day operations, supporting the Institute, with the intention of ensuring a seamless experience for the AEDP community. Their work keeps the Institute running smoothly and effectively. The AEDP Facilitation Team provides essential support during online trainings, ensuring a seamless virtual learning experience.
