As a fully bilingual Spanish and English speaker, I use wholehearted, creative, and embodied practices in therapy to journey with my clients toward healing.
Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked as the Latin American director of an international nonprofit organization serving over 50,000 women and children through microenterprise, school meals and agriculture projects mainly in Central America, worked as a professional singer/songwriter in Mexico City, Mexico for over 5 years and at a community agency nonprofit organization as a caregiver for adolescents.
I wholeheartedly believe in holistic treatment and practice meditation, contemplative prayer, yoga, and creative healing in my own life. As a therapist, I believe that every person has the potential and drive toward healing, and I count it a gift to be able to sit and hear people’s stories and journey together.
