Alyssa has a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision from Liberty University. She received her MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and her BA in Psychology from St. Edward’s University. She also has advanced postgraduate training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
Alyssa has an extensive background working in these various evidence based integrative approaches with individuals, couples, families, active duty military, veteran, widow, and bereavement populations.
Alyssa engages her clients from a holistic perspective that strategically integrates several aspects of their life to help them move toward healing and wholeness. She specializes in resiliency, wellness, military unique stressors, trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, marriage and family therapy, parenting techniques, and complicated bereavement counseling.
