I am a clinical psychologist with over 30 years experience and am trained in both AEDP (Level III) and EFT (certified in EFT couples therapy). I practice individual, couples, and family therapy and was on the faculty of the Duke Family Studies program for 28 years, teaching family, couples, and individual therapy approaches to advanced learners at Duke University Medical Center. I was Director of the Family Studies program for the last six years, and recently retired to go into private practice in Durham. I have found AEDP to be a natural and powerful integration of attachment in individual therapy.
