Therapists included in this directory are listed according to their level of training in AEDP (i.e. roughly number of AEDP training hours); AEDP Level does not correlate to the therapist’s overall experience as a clinician. To learn more about AEDP Levels, click here.

Mind-Body Connection
Hi!
I’m Linda Hobbs! I am the Owner of As One Wellness, PLLC in Raleigh-Durham (RTP) and Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m known as The Mind-Body Connector and have also been referred to as “Doctor Love.”
I help couples experience and sustain heightened pleasure and intimacy within their relationship. They feel a mind-body connection and learn to breathe, as one. I help couples thrive in every aspect of their lives by using a holistic approach that includes the ancient practices of yoga and meditation.
I have worked in the health and wellness industry for over 25 years. A few of my employers have been Magellan Federal/Magellan Health Services, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania/University of Pennsylvania (The Wharton School, Employee Assistance Program/Health Services, Wissahickon Hospice and Oncology), Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc.
I am ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, Families and Individuals and an Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy Level III practitioner.
As an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and a Certified Meditation Instructor, I have years of experiencing this healing practice, personally and professionally. I continue to expand my Ayurveda (sister of Yoga) studies and practice for more holistic wellness. I am intentional to get long walks by the ocean at sunrise and sunset. Sailing is my abosolute bliss. My brother says it “makes my soul sing.” My daughter, well, she is in the process of becoming a yoga and meditation instructor.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist. I received my MSS from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and my MBA from Eastern University.
I serve on the Carolina Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy Training Subcommittee and on the Durham Committee for the Affairs of Black People, Health & Safety Committee.
I plan to expand my role as an LCSW Clinical Supervisor to an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapy (Couples, Families, and Individuals) Supervisor.
I live and breathe Interracial and Black Love. I believe how well a couple connects has tremendous impact on the health and wellness of the family and future generations. As One.
