Description

I believe people can heal from anything. We are resilient and have a fundamental light and strength inside of us. Although it is not easy and can take time, with the right conditions and the support we need, we can leave behind the pain and unhealthy ways of coping and move towards wellness and wholeness. My goal as a therapist is to provide space and support for individuals to experience and express their emotions in healing ways that transform the way they relate to themselves and others around them. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands. I am Nationally Board Certified (NBCC) and licensed in South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor. As an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist (ASAT), I am passionate about healthy sexuality and relationships. I am a Master Certified ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) practitioner and love to use this model to help clients resolve traumatic experiences. I am a Splankna practitioner and have received training to use Brainspotting, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Utilizing these modalities, I hope to help others move towards their wellness goals. Before I began pursuing my professional degree, I served in lay counseling roles for 15 years.
