It is an honor and a privilege to walk with individuals and couples through their darkest valleys, holding the light of hope that there is a way out that is through. I consider it sacred to be with you in the suffering as a representative of Christ, speaking truth, love, and compassion in the places where you have become accustomed to the voice of shame, guilt, doubt, and fear. I consider it a joy and a calling to climb into the pits of conflict, despair, depression, anxiety, infidelity, and addiction, and show you the way out in step with your unique process. In you, there is light, and life, and love but it has been marred and covered by the stains of life in a fallen world. The echoes of trauma may reverberate in your mind, your heart, your body, and your actions, but that is not all you are. The authentic and true you, the image bearer of God, created and called for a purpose is within you, longing to emerge. It is my great love to see you deeply, peel away the brokenness, and call forth the glorious you within. Together, we overcome evil with good. We free the parts of you held captive by trauma and the pain of aloneness. We trade ashes for beauty, isolation for connection, mourning for joy, and insodoing see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living; you’re very own life.
