I work with clients to transform experiences of suffering into opportunities for growth and discovery of one's inner strengths. I am a non-judgmental, compassionate listener who strives to build a therapeutic relationship that is honest, supportive, and empathic. Within this relationship we will be able to safely and sensitively identify and work through sources of pain and problems that you are experiencing in a collaborative way.
My goal is to help clients overcome barriers that prevent them from experiencing themselves, their relationships and their lives in a full and rich way. I work to understand each client's unique struggle, to appreciate the client as a whole person, respecting their personal history, cultural background and individual identity.
I work with all people age 18 and older, and I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders and parenting concerns. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and experiential traditions and is grounded in the principles of AEDP.
