Description

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specialized in working with children, adolescents, and families. My passion is working with teens and adults through an attachment focused lens around various forms of identity formation, self-exploration and increased self-confidence. I have experience working in psychiatric hospitals, behavioral day schools, and mental health clinics. I have a personal connection to adoption and am highly trained in working in the area of adoption and attachment, both with individual adoptees and adoptive families. I have worked at an orphanage in Colombia counseling children and parents as they prepared for adoption and have many years of experience helping parents and their children connect and thrive. I have been trained in several modalities including psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems therapy, attachment-based therapy, trauma-focused psychotherapy, dyadic developmental psychotherapy as well as AEDP.
