McKinnon, Christopher

Christopher McKinnon graduated from Yorkville University's MA program in counselling psychology, after nearly 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit arts and public sectors. They are a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists. Their private practice is focused on helping BIPOC clients overcome challenges related to depression or anxiety, thoughts about suicide, chronic illness or disability, interpersonal and relationship issues, cultural identity, immigration, sexuality, gender identity, grief and loss, and difficult emotions. They specialize in treatment for major mood disorders, personality disorders, and psychosis.
