I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Canadian Certified Supervisor (CCS) based in British Columbia, Canada.
I offer online counselling for adults navigating trauma, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, and the often complicated process of figuring out who they are beneath the roles they’ve learned to play.
I continue to be touched by what happens when people feel safe enough to bring forward the parts of themselves they usually keep hidden. Much of my work involves slowing down together, listening carefully, and making sense of experiences that may have been carried alone for a long time.
My approach is relational, attachment-informed, and trauma-aware. I draw primarily from AEDP, somatic attachment psychotherapy, and existential analysis. While these approaches differ in language, they share a common belief: meaningful change happens when we feel genuinely met in our experience and no longer have to navigate it alone.
I’m particularly drawn to working with people who have spent much of their lives adapting to fit in, caring for others before themselves, masking parts of who they are, or quietly wondering whether they truly belong. Many of the clients I work with, including neurodivergent individuals, are not looking simply for coping strategies—they are looking for a deeper sense of connection to themselves and the people around them.
Alongside my private practice, Cennia Psychotherapy, I work as a counsellor and clinical supervisor in a post-secondary setting. Before becoming a therapist, I studied Physical and Health Education and spent many years playing competitive rugby, including representing Canada at the U19 and U23 levels. These experiences continue to shape my understanding of identity, pressure, belonging, injury, and transition.
Outside of therapy, I am happiest when I’m moving, spending time with people I love, and finding opportunities to be a little ridiculous. If given the choice, I’d probably spend the day driving toward the ocean, hiking somewhere quiet, and ending the evening around a campfire with good food and good company.
