Dina Miqdadi, is a chartered counseling psychologist and a certified AEDP therapist.
She grew up in Jordan and has lived and trained in the US (2 years) and the UK (6 years). She is
now settled in the Mediterranean island of Cyprus.
Dina has trained in an NHS clinic and the Place2Be in the UK, worked/volunteered with various NGOs and INGOs with Arabic speaking refugees in several countries, and has worked with private clinics and a psychiatric hospital in Jordan. She currently has her private practice and volunteers to run AEDP oriented groups for Arabic speaking refugees in Cyprus with a grassroots NGO named “together”.
Andrew Joseph, EdM, MA, LMHC (Research Associate, Guest Presenter in Immersion 2022), is a psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Trinity Western University in Langley, BC, and an MA and EdM in psychological counseling and mental health counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. Andrew was recruited by his Marriage and Family Therapy professor at Columbia, Gil Tunnell, to work with Diana Fosha. Diana introduced Andrew to her co-leaders of the AEDP research project, Jenn Edlin and Shigeru Iwakabe, who invited Andrew to join the AEDP research team as a research assistant in 2018. Jacquie Ye-Perman, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist, Adjunct Faculty of the AEDP™ Institute, certified AEDP Therapist and Supervisor. She is also a member of the AEDP DBEI (Diversity, Belonging, Equity and Inclusion) Committee and the AEDP International Development Committee.
Jacquie grew up in China. She obtained her master’s in Social and Developmental Psychology at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada and her PhD in counseling psychology at University of Florida, USA. She attended her first AEDP Immersion course in 2013 and started receiving supervision from Dr. Diana Fosha soon after. In 2015 she assisted helming the first Immersion course in Shanghai, China, taught by Dr. Diana Fosha and Dr. Danny Yeung. Over the past eight years she has co-taught Immersion, Essential Skills, Core-training courses, and led several other AEDP training in the Chinese-speaking communities and later in English-speaking communities. Sonya Parker is currently a Level III AEDP™ therapist and Lead Chair of the AEDP Vision Collective Racialized Trauma & Spirituality in AEDP Exploratory Group. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) having completed a yoga teacher training program for behavioral health professionals with a focus on anxiety and depression. Sonya’s therapeutic approach and stance is grounded in psychodynamic, affective neuroscience, attachment, emotion-focused, and experiential theories. In addition, Sonya has completed advanced training as a couples therapist in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Jessica Slatus, LCSW is a Certified AEDP Therapist and Supervisor in Colorado. She is an integral part of the AEDP Rocky Mountains community and has presented locally on a number of topics within AEDP, including the AEDP therapist stance, working with anxiety and defenses, building receptive affective capacity, and metaprocessing. More recently, she has focused on writing and teaching about working with eating disorders using AEDP, and has authored two publications on the topic: an article in Transformance, the AEDP journal, and a book chapter co-authored with Natasha Prenn in the book Trauma-Informed Approaches to Eating Disorders.Jessica received her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, her Masters in Social Work from New York University, and her post-graduate training in eating disorders at the Center for the Study of Anorexia & Bulimia (CSAB). Heloise (Lois) Ridley, LPC is an AEDP Level 2 Therapist; she is an active member of the AEDP Vision Collective and she was a co-presenter in the Institute-sponsored seminar, “Transformational Synergies in AEDP, Spirituality and Psychedelics” in July, 2022. Lois is founder of New Hope Counseling and Wellness in Pennsylvania where she supports families and individuals in their journey toward healing relational attachment trauma.
She also counsels at Wilkes University Counseling Center. Lois explores use of the AEDP model in support of clients who have experienced racialized and other forms of childhood trauma. As a doctoral candidate at Wilkes University, she researches the utilization of culturally responsive trauma informed care in higher education settings for students of color. Lois is also investigating the intersectionality of psychology and faith.
Alana Tappin, CPsych is a licensed clinical psychologist, and the owner/operator of a private psychology clinic that specializes in psychological support for marginalized and racialized people. Based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she conducts psychological assessments, treatment and consultation to children, teens and adults. Dr. Tappin also provides supervision and training to students, pre-licensed and licensed mental health therapists. She has long had an interest in the psychological impact of racism and offers trainings on whiteness, shame and racism, and offers anti-oppression and anti-racism training to community organizations, universities, and private businesses. Della Mosley, PhD is the President of the non-profit The WELLS Healing Center (formerly the University of Florida based WELLS Healing and Research Collective). She co-founded Academics for Black Survival and Wellness (#Academics4BlackLives) with Pearis Bellamy and is the co-founder (with David Oh) of the Radical Healing Collaborative Group Practice. Della is also a proud member of the Psychology of Radical Healing Collective, and an American Psychological Association (APA) Minority Fellow.

Peter Muhwati, CSW, is a Clinical Social Worker from Zimbabwe living in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He uses attachment-based, experiential approaches to therapy with individuals and couples. His clinical experience also includes work within palliative care in Zimbabwe.
Peter hopes one day to be Certified in the AEDP model. He completed his higher education at Penn State University and Royal Holloway, University of London.
Following his undergraduate degree, he entered the religious life of the Franciscan Friars. He is still guided by Franciscan Spirituality. Peter is married with two children.
