AEDP® Therapist Review Board

The AEDP® Therapist Review Board is responsible for reviewing clinical work submitted by candidates pursuing AEDP® Therapist Certification.

Review Board members evaluate certification submissions according to established AEDP Therapist Certification criteria and provide candidates with clear, development-focused feedback. The review process is designed to support consistency, fairness, and integrity in AEDP® Therapist Certification.

The Therapist Review Board works collaboratively to uphold the clinical standards of AEDP while supporting therapists in demonstrating their integration and application of the model.

The Therapist Review Board is a review body. Questions about certification requirements, eligibility, applications, or the certification process should be directed to the CarolynAEDP Institute rather than to individual Review Board members.

The Therapist Certification Review Process

Candidates for AEDP® Therapist Certification submit clinical materials demonstrating their application of AEDP psychotherapy. Submissions are reviewed by two reviewers, who evaluate the candidate’s work according to the established certification criteria.

Reviewers assess the submitted clinical material and accompanying documentation and provide an outcome of Pass or Resubmit, along with feedback when appropriate.

The review process is intended not only to assess competency but also to support continued clinical development and integration of AEDP principles.
