Neta Korazim/ Newly Certified Therapist

Dear AEDP community,

It is with deep delight that Idit Ronen-Setter (Neta’s long-term supervisor) and I (her certification supervisor) get to announce that Neta Korazim is now certified as an AEDP therapist.

Idit writes: “Such a blessing that you, Neta, have met AEDP and entered our community with such an open heart and dedicated mind.

“Here are some words for us members of the AEDP community: Neta has her unique combination of sensitivity, resilience, wisdom, care, and finesse, her zest and energy that is both calming and magnetic! Getting to know Neta, one can imagine her waking up in the middle of the night with a new idea or realization regarding a paper she read, or related to a patient – getting up and digging-in with determined eyes… What an impact her presence and thoroughness make on her patients.

“With her enthusiastic engagement in AEDP theory and practice, her deep care for her patients, Neta’s motivation in her work is striking. Added to this, is the lovely person that she is, thoughtful, wise, patient, and sincere.”

Both her reviewers were struck by Neta’s AEDP presence, knowledge and skill and heart. The first writes:

“I was absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to review and soak in Neta Korazim’s nearly flawless AEDP work. Her style combines authenticity, seamless AEDP knowledge and skillset, and a clear understanding of the theory and practice of the model. Every step of the way, both with the new patient and the patient who has been so traumatized historically and by current events, breakthroughs to very clear transformations are evident in the work Neta chose to analyze and share.”

The second reviewer adds:

“I am captivated by NETA’S description of her AEDP learning journey.  In it she shares how she moved from Slovakia to Israel, and describes her movement between cultures and language and how she came to AEDP.  I find her use of language so engaging and descriptive, revealing a deep understadning of AEDP and how she engaged and discovered more through the certification process. I’m a fan of her work before I begin to watch her videos.

“I appreciate Neta’s thorough, compassionate description of her clients, giving me a sense of their work together.  For the first clinical video of a mid treatment – I got the magnitude of trauma her client has been facing.  This description offers not only a view into who the client is and what she had been processing, but a description of who Neta is as an attachment figure who has been holding her client with the depth of her open eyes and heart.

“Neta’s delight in her patient’s is palpable. I feel her deep accompaniment and care and interest in helping her patient’s to move towards having new experiences of being present with their inner feelings and developing connection.  I feel slow as I watch the tapes, in exploratory mode with the patient and Neta. Neta’s kindness and care feels warm and encouraging, brings a feeling of safety and feeling seen and understood.”

Neta shares the following around her AEDP journey:

AEDP crossed my life at just the right moment when; I was ready to receive all the goodness it has to offer. As an immigrant, just finding my footing in a new language and culture, encountering AEDP felt like discovering a natural tongue. Its core theory and principles based on neuroscience fascinated me. When I watched videos of clients being gently guided to stay with their experience while wrapped in a warm blanket of real, relational connection by attuned therapists that privilege the new and the positive – I got hooked immediately.

With great passion, I immersed myself in learning; each step along the spiral of AEDP training deepened my understanding of its transformational powers and this  was clearly reflected in my clinical work. I came to realize that neither talking skills nor accent mattered as much. Honest presence, attunement and support can happen with few words or none at all.

Along with my learning, my sense of community grew; both within the Israeli AEDP circle and the wider international family. Joining the EA community deepened my skills and gave me a meaningful sense of contribution. This marked another quantum leap in my development.

I hold deep gratitude for my precious teacher and supervisor Idit Ronen-Setter, who guided me with love, gentleness and patience, and for my dear certification supervisor, Jennifer Edlin, whose generosity and wisdom touched me deeply. Walking the path toward certification has been a transformative and fascinating journey. It not only shaped the way of my practice, but it has also transformed how I related to others and to myself.

I am deeply honored to be joining the AEDP Certified Therapists community. My wish is to continue growing, helping clients transforming their suffering into flourishing and spreading out the word of humanity, healing and compassion in Israel, Slovakia & Czech Republic and beyond.
