Our AEDP® Certified Supervisors

AEDP Certified Supervisors are expert clinicians who have undergone extensive training to master the principles and practices of AEDP. They play a vital role in guiding therapists through the certification process, offering both technical skill development and emotional attunement. These supervisors provide a safe, supportive space for therapists to refine their therapeutic abilities, integrate AEDP techniques, and cultivate their own unique therapeutic style. With a deep commitment to the growth of their supervisees, AEDP Certified Supervisors help ensure the highest standards of care and transformation for both therapists and their clients.

Find a Supervisor

Supervision that counts toward certification must be provided by either (i) AEDP Institute Faculty or (ii) AEDP Certified Supervisors (see Supervisor Certification requirements here). For your convenience, we provide a list of Supervisors and Supervisors-in-training with their contact information. You’re welcome to view the entire list but we recommend the following:

Email findasupervisor@aedpinstitute.org with your supervision needs. In your message, please include:

  • What you’re looking for in a supervisor
  • Any specific criteria or preferences
  • A brief description of you and your practice

Your request will be shared with AEDP faculty, certified supervisors, and supervisors-in-training. Those who may be a good fit will reach out to you directly.

You’re welcome to connect with more than one person until you find the right match. We kindly ask that you respond to all who contact you—whether or not you choose to work with them. Even a brief reply helps our supervisors and strengthens our community.

Please note: Supervisors (whether Faculty or Certified Supervisors) are not employees of the AEDP Institute, nor is their supervision work overseen or regulated by the Institute. Each Supervisor’s practice, like their treatment of patients, is overseen and/or regulated by their own professional licensing body in their jurisdiction. The AEDP Institute is not responsible for Supervisors’ clinical or supervision practices, fee structures, communications, or ethics.

*Hours with a Supervisor-in-training only count if a Certified Supervisor or Faculty is present—or retroactively if/when the supervisor becomes certified.

Supervisors-in-training often charge lower fees and work closely under the guidance of Certified Supervisors giving you the benefit of two perspectives on your work.
